Exploitive much? Lindsey Lohan brings her tabloid gravitas to a movie picking over the bones of the woman, whose life was the material of tabloid legend. Not very good as a biography, not very good as a movie, this film careens from cringeworthy to boring. For Lohan completists only (or maybe Grant Bowler fans).

Kovacs, whose offbeat humor graced the airwaves for just a decade in the 1950s and 60s, served healthy portions of the offbeat to his audiences, who had never seen anything quite like this cigar-wielding charmer. Wickedly funny but not offensive, Kovacs' unique humor and flair for improvisation would ripple across generations, influencing TV funnymen from Johnny Carson, Monty Python and David Letterman to Jim Henson, Pee Wee Herman and Saturday Night Live.

Inspired by true events, the romantic tale follows Paige and Leo after they survive a car accident that leaves Paige without any memory of the man she fell in love with or their marriage. It's up to Leo to win back her heart ... and her mind. The DVD and Blu-rayTM Combo Pack bonus features include commentary with Director Michael Sucsy, a gag reel and deleted scenes. Exclusive to the Blu-rayTM Combo Pack are three behind-the-scenes featurettes: "'Til Death Do They Part," a look at how the true-life story was made into the movie; "Profiles of Love: Paige and Leo," which discusses what drew McAdams and Tatum to the project, as well as their perspectives on their characters and the film's themes; and "Trying to Remember," explaining how trauma can affect memory.

There isn't much that doesn't play out as one would expect in this bouncy romantic comedy set in a fancy Austrian ski resort. As much as I tend to shy away from these type of films I have to admit that the cast was charming, the locations attractive and though this one doesn't reinvent the genre it is colorful fun. Just don't tell anyone I just said that.

Well worth a rental if you like this sort of thing. And maybe even if you don't. I won't tell if you won't.

One of my favorite De Palma films is properly Criterion-ized in 1080p.

Highly recommended.

I will never pass up a chance to see the legendary Catherine Deneuve in action, as she only gets better with age.
