Los Angeles, CA (December 9, 2014) - Freestyle Digital Media (FDM) has announced December 30, 2014 as the DVD release date for Dance-Off, which will be available for purchase at Walmart and other retailers nationwide. The film was released on VOD in October 2014.



The family friendly, hilarious dance comedy Dance-Off features a robust and popular social media cast that includes Shane Harper (GOD'S NOT DEAD, "Happyland"), Kathryn McCormick ("So You Think You Can Dance"), David Burtka ("How I Met Your Mother"), Finola Hughes ("General Hospital") and Carolyn Hennesy ("General Hospital"). Dance-Off was directed by Alex Di Marco and written by Amy George and Mark Goodman. MarVista Entertainment is the exclusive international distributor for the film.

Dance-Off is a tongue-in-cheek family comedy set in the world of competition dancing starring talented dancers and choreographers from TV's "So You Think You Can Dance!" They were dance partners and mutual crushes as children. But Brandon quickly moved away not allowed to say goodbye to the heartbroken Jasmine. Luckily, both kept up their dancing. Years later Jasmine shines at the well-funded Diamond Dance Studios and deals with her crazy "dance mom" Jo-Ann (Hughes). Brandon leads rival Shockwave Studio that desperately needs the $25,000 to stop it from closing. Unable to deny their feelings and both wanting to win, the star-crossed lovers feel pressure from Jo-Ann, competition owner Mary (Hennesy), and her son JT (Burtka) to triumph at all costs. How can they compete against the person they love?
